Use and water testing

Test the water before adding this product. The package gives a general swimming pool pH range of 7.2–7.8 and directs use to lower pH when it is above 7.8. Consult your sanitizer label for its recommended water balance range.

Follow the complete package directions for the correct dose and application method for your pool volume. The label directs circulating the water for 6–8 hours before retesting pH. Do not lower pH below 7.2. When lowering total alkalinity, follow the separate package instructions and retest pH.
